We have repeatedly heard from the lips of General Designer of CJSC "String Technologies" Anatoliy Yunitskiy a comparison of the existing characteristics of string transport with those that can be achieved in case of using ultra-modern composite materials. Many of us are already accustomed to this and think that the use of CFRP, Kevlar and other materials like them, is a fairly remote perspective.
But, as often happens, Anatoliy Eduardovich managed to surprise us by starting real tests of the carbon fiber slats in order to investigate their possible application as a tension element of the track structure. And yes, you have correctly understood us, they will perform the role of the strings! The work is being carried out at the Center for Scientific Research and Testing of Construction Structures of the Belorussian National Technical University.
The construction of the EcoTechnoPark continues, as planned, but in CJSC "String Technologies", as it turned out, the constant work for the future is being carried out at the same time.
