Affordability

Today there is an alternative, which will release passengers from all drawbacks of the existing transport – it is transport of the second level, based on SkyWay technologies.

Affordability

Those people, who frequently have to go on business trips from Moscow to St. Petersburg, know it well that for today, there is no faster way to get there than by plane. On the plus side, we can name the little time required to cover this rather a long way – just three hours, including the road to the airport and back and you are already in a northern capital. Minuses are put forward by passengers, who suffer from aviophobia and health problems connected with pressure differences when taking off and landing. It is difficult to say that the flight cost lies beyond the limits, although 5–7 thousand rubles is a rather considerable sum for the majority of people to pay for 45 minutes of flight.

Travelling by fast train is a little cheaper and few people experience any fright being in a train carriage. On the minus side of rail transport, we can name irreparable harm caused by fast train to fauna – animals and birds are just sucked under carriages. In addition, a rolling stock travels for several hours, makes stops at the stations and its speed is limited in populated regions.

An important advantage is low net cost for passenger and cargo transportation, which is possible due to the following factors:

- low fuel consumption for transportation of one person. Low diesel fuel consumption per 100 passengers while their transportation for X km determines energy cost per one passenger as 98 rubles. Introduction of electrified unibus will decrease transportation expenses by twofold, and even more;
- reduced depreciation expenses are explained by simple design of a unibus. Calculations of infrastructure cost, required for 1 km of the track, gave the figure of 99 mln rubles, considering that this track will operate for 50 years with minimal expenses for maintenance of necessary safety and comfort level;

- no need for a large number of workers for unibus maintenance, as all operations will be carried out by automatic control, as a result of which expenses will be reduced by twofold compared to railway transport expenses.
